Remember me? I’m back! In pog form.

Hurray.

Okay, so about a million years ago I counted down my 1001 favourite songs on The Gospel According To Richard Croft, and after that was finished I planned to continue blogging in a more general format. I got a bit sidetracked by a couple of things, and ended up releasing an EP of my own songs which you can find over on Richard Eric Music. And now, my long-awaited (ha) return to waffling on about music/film/television/whatever.

I switched over to this new name because I wanted to keep the 1001 project seperate, and also because I want to blog and release music under the same name, Richard Eric, which is my first and middle names as opposed to first and last (isn’t this all just fascinating). Anyway this blog will be full of reviews and lots of other features that I’m still deciding on. It’ll be about current music with lots of lots of flashbacks to music from “yesteryear”, and when I feel I need to, I’ll have a ramble about film and TV too.

Over the next few weeks, as a sort-of reintroduction to the type of thing I like to listen to and write about, I’ll be counting down my favourite albums and songs of 2010. In the immortal words of Kylie Minogue (SHE TWEETED ME ONCE DID YOU KNOW)…
